Christine Dirringer

Managing Director, BNP Paribas

Christine is a Managing Director and Head of Commodity Structured Debt North America at BNP Paribas. Her focus, and that of her team, is the structuring of bank debt solutions for energy marketing companies and hybrid energy marketing/midstream companies. She has structured numerous syndicated and bilateral credit facilities, assisted in their syndication and overseen their ongoing administration, as well as managed client relationships in the sector. BNP Paribas, one of the largest financial institutions in the world, is a leader in the Commodity Finance space.

Christine has twenty-two years of banking experience, fifteen of which have been in the Commodity Finance domain. She has been at BNP Paribas for eleven years. Prior to joining BNP, Christine was a Relationship Manager at another leading commodity finance bank and, before entering the commodity finance world, her banking experience encompassed Leveraged Finance, Equity Capital Markets and Corporate Finance Advisory. Her pre-banking career included stints at the Delegation of the European Commission (Trade Division) and a Washington DC think tank.

Christine holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California at Berkeley and is a CFA charter holder. She is based out of New York.
